Ever wonder what a Scotsman wears under his kilt?

The answer: Shoes and socks.

On Saturday I watched the European Pipe Band Championships in Grant Park. It’s the second largest competition in the world and features thousands of pipers and drummers and over a hundred bands, competed to be European Champions in their grade.

The streets and pubs in Forres was full of skirts too. Happy to see so many young people proudly sporting thier kilts. A quality kilt in your family tatan cost about $600 to $1500 depending on the quality of the fabric. Not everyone has one so its common for men to rent one for a wedding.
