Stouts and Sprouts NFS
The crockery in this still life was my mom’s. The piece holds special memories of my mom cooking Sunday dinner. I also think about the dreaded Brussel sprouts she would sever and how my siblings and I hated them. We’d conspire to drop them into our lap and tuck them into a paper napkin. Whoever’s job it was to clear the table knew to check for the little bundles and dispose of them.
