Abstract landscape evoking the feeling of day breaking on the coastal wetlands. One of a series of paintings I did while experimenting with Cold-Wax painting techniques. Cold-wax is a combination of bees wax, solvents and resin. It adds a translucent quality when  mixed with oil paint.
